HS Hyosung Advanced Materials is taking part in the 2026 China International Composites Expo, running for three days from the 1st through the 3rd at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai.
The CCE show, held annually in Shanghai, is Asia's largest exhibition dedicated to composite materials. It brings together high-performance reinforcing fibers such as carbon fiber and aramid, along with a wide range of resins, composites and related equipment. Last year the event drew more than 850 companies from 17 countries and about 27,000 visitors, making it a major venue for global business. HS Hyosung Advanced Materials (298050.KS) has participated in the CCE show every year since 2013.
At this year's exhibition, the company is highlighting its lineup of high-performance carbon fiber, a material drawing attention as a core input for advanced industries including energy, mobility and aerospace thanks to its high tensile strength and elastic modulus. Along with physical samples of TANSOME®, the carbon fiber brand it developed with proprietary technology, the company is showing a broad range of products that use the material: mobility applications such as automotive wheels, hoods and brake discs; sporting goods including hockey sticks, pickleball rackets, surfboards and helmets; high-pressure vessels for hydrogen and oxygen; drones; and core wires for power cables. The company said it aims to raise the value of its high-performance, ultra-high-strength carbon fiber brand and draw the attention of global customers.
"This exhibition is an important opportunity to further solidify strategic partnerships with global customers and to showcase the excellent technological capabilities of HS Hyosung carbon fiber," said Lim Jin-dal, chief executive of HS Hyosung Advanced Materials. "Based on world-class product quality and stable supply capacity, we will further strengthen trust in the global market."
