NAVER (035420) said on the 10th that it will livestream the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games on Chzzk, its streaming platform. During the Games, which run from the 19th of this month through the 4th of next month, Chzzk will carry broadcaster-produced coverage and major e-sports matches in real time.
The platform will continue the watch-together feature and on-site content that drew strong responses during the World Cup and the Olympics. Sports creators including Shoot for Love, Park Jong-yoon, Nongterman and Yoo Hee-kwan will join watch-together sessions and cheer on matches alongside guests. Chzzk streamers and clip creators will also be dispatched to Japan to convey the atmosphere inside and outside venues through live streams and clips.
NAVER is expanding its use of artificial intelligence as well. AI Clip and AI Chapter, both introduced earlier, will be applied to the Games so viewers can quickly check key moments and easily find the segments they want. The company is introducing Multi-Source Highlights, which groups multiple live videos by athlete, team or theme, and will offer an AI subtitle feature that converts Korean-language commentary into text.
NAVER will also run a special Asian Games page allowing users to see the schedule for 43 sports and 469 events at a glance. The company plans to open a dedicated Asian Games lounge where sports fans and experts can cheer, analyze and debate freely, along with a range of participatory events.
