A total of 4,591 homes at eight complexes across South Korea go on sale this week. No model houses will open because of the Chuseok holiday.
Eight complexes nationwide will begin sales of 4,591 homes in the fourth week of September, according to real estate data provider R114 on the 20th. Of that total, 3,137 units are general-supply homes open to the wider public.
Applications for new housing will be accepted for The Sharp Bundang High St. in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province; Hillstate Godeok Elyst in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province; and Cheonan I-Park City in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province.
POSCO E&C is selling The Sharp Bundang High St. near 90 Jeongja-dong in Seongnam's Bundang district. The complex spans four basement levels and up to 26 floors above ground across 17 buildings, with 1,149 units in total. It is a remodeling of the Neutimaeul 4 complex, and 143 units will be offered as general supply.
The site is near Jeongja Station, served by both the Suin-Bundang Line and the Shinbundang Line. Access to the Bundang-Suseo and Bundang-Naegok expressways makes commuting to Pangyo and Gangnam convenient. Children can walk to Singi Elementary, Jeongja Middle and Hansol Elementary schools, and the Jeongja-dong cram school district is nearby.
Hillstate Godeok Elyst in Godeok-dong, Pyeongtaek, built by Hyundai Engineering & Construction, Dongbu and Woomi Construction, also goes on sale. The project consists of two blocks, A12 and A65. Together they will deliver 16 buildings and 1,779 units in the Godeok International New Town.
Godeok International New Town sits close to Samsung Electronics' Pyeongtaek campus, the company's largest semiconductor production site in the world. Residents can reach work by car in about 10 minutes. A new Pyeongtaek City Hall building is planned nearby, which is expected to expand administrative infrastructure in the area. Seojeong-ri Station on Seoul Subway Line 1 and Pyeongtaek Jije Station, a stop on the high-speed rail network, are also close by.
