Doosan Enerbility (034020) is moving forward with TRIVN Gaheung, a large residential complex in the Gaheung-dong area of Yeongju, North Gyeongsang Province, that will carry the company's new housing brand TRIVN.
The complex will consist of eight buildings ranging from two basement levels to 29 floors above ground, with a total of 765 units. Because it is a branded large-scale development in Gaheung-dong, a core hub in the northern part of North Gyeongsang Province, it is expected to set a new benchmark for the local housing market. It also follows TRIVN Centum, a 1,644-unit project planned for Haeundae District in Busan, and is seen as a symbolic development marking the spread of the TRIVN brand to major hubs across the country.
The project's competitiveness rests on Doosan Enerbility's engineering capabilities and strict quality control systems, both proven in global markets. The company, which has carried out large-scale energy projects including nuclear power plants and combined-cycle gas power plants, has won recognition for its technology in markets such as the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, the United States and Oman. Capabilities at that level — including its selection as a strategic partner for core components of Rolls-Royce's small modular reactor (SMR) program in the U.K. and its participation in manufacturing components for TerraPower's SMR in the U.S. — are being applied directly to residential construction.
Added to that is the residential expertise the company built through its successful construction of Seoul Forest Trimage, a byword for luxury housing in South Korea. The company said it plans to deliver a high-quality living environment based on rigorous process and safety management.
