Seoul's Gangdong-gu has converted the digital learning center operated at the Southeast Campus of the Seoul Citizens University into the Seoul AI Digital Learning Hub, renovating its base center and hands-on experience space.
Any Seoul resident can take free courses there at various skill levels, covering the use of generative artificial intelligence as well as smartphones, computers, kiosks and mobile banking.
The program also offers outreach classes in which specialist instructors visit senior community centers, schools, facilities for people with disabilities and youth centers.
Applications for the November courses will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis from Oct. 12 to 30, with classes running from Nov. 2 to 30 at the Southeast Campus of the Seoul Citizens University.
