DAEJEON — Korea Forest Service Chief (Administrator) Park Eun-sik visited Jungni Traditional Market in Daejeon's Daedeok District on the 22nd to review supply and price trends for domestically grown forest products such as chestnuts, jujubes, shiitake mushrooms and dried persimmons, as well as farm produce including apples and pears. Park also bought goods at the market to help promote consumption of Korean forest products.
Park delivered the ritual offerings and other goods purchased at the market to Pyeonggang House, a social welfare facility in Daejeon.
