South Korea's canoe sprint pair of Cho Kwang-hee and Kim Hyo-bin won gold at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, becoming the first South Korean athletes to claim two titles at this year's competition.
Cho and Kim finished the men's kayak double 500 meters final in 1 minute 31.859 seconds at the Miyoshi Lake canoe course in Aichi Prefecture, Japan, on the 25th. It was South Korea's 11th gold medal of the Games.
The two reached the top of the podium for a second straight day after combining for South Korean canoeing's first Asian Games gold in the kayak four 500 meters event a day earlier.
