Hyundai Department Store said on the 20th that it has opened the fifth Coasis store, a beauty specialty retailer operated by Hyundai Home Shopping, on the second basement level of its Mokdong branch.
The fifth Coasis store spans 184 square meters, the largest among existing outlets. The number of brands and products carried has increased more than 30% and 50%, respectively, from the average of existing stores. The store sells about 2,000 products, ranging from popular skincare brands to wellness and aesthetics labels. Featured items include Jasderma's four-type 150-milliliter ampoule set and Saint Frank's gel mask pack of four 35-gram sheets, each priced at 9,900 won. To mark the opening, the store is running promotions including gifts based on purchase amounts.
An official at Hyundai Home Shopping said, "We designed the Mokdong branch as a space that spans lifestyle as a whole, including wellness and aesthetics, beyond the beauty category," adding, "We will continue to provide differentiated shopping value that can only be experienced offline through a customized store strategy reflecting the characteristics of each commercial district."
Coasis operates its first through fourth stores at Hyundai Outlet Space One, the Garden Five and Dongdaemun locations, and Hyundai Department Store's Cheonho branch. The company said the four stores are posting results that exceed their sales targets by more than 50%.
