Actor Lee Da-hae, who is due to give birth in December, shared an ultrasound image of her baby and described how her husband, singer Se7en, reacted to the news of her pregnancy.
Lee appeared on the tvN Story variety program "What's the Point of Saving It," which aired on the 14th, and talked about her married life with Se7en.
Both born in 1984, Lee and Se7en married in 2023 after publicly dating for eight years. They are set to become parents this December, three years into their marriage. The baby is a girl, and her nickname in the womb is "Haeven," a blend of the couple's names.
The program showed an ultrasound image taken at 22 weeks. "People who saw the ultrasound said she looks like her dad," Lee said. "They weren't sure about the other features, but they said the nose is unmistakable — that it looks like her dad's."
Recalling the moment she confirmed the pregnancy, Lee said, "I first checked with a pregnancy test, but I thought the two lines were a mistake, so I took another one. I waited a while and tested again, and the lines came out even clearer."
"I booked a nice restaurant and prepared a stuffed animal, the pregnancy test and a card," she said. "I asked him to say a prayer, then took out the gift. At first he didn't quite understand what it was, and then he was so shocked that he cried and cried. He cried so much that it looked funny and I laughed a lot, but when we held each other, something welled up inside me."
