Pearl Abyss (263750.KS) said on the 28th that its open-world action adventure game "Crimson Desert Enhanced" has been nominated in two categories at the Golden Joystick Awards 2026, a global gaming awards show: PC Game of the Year and Best Soundtrack.
At the Golden Joystick Awards, a panel of gaming media outlets and industry experts selects the nominees in each category, and winners are decided by online voting from users worldwide.
PC Game of the Year goes to a title that delivers outstanding gameplay in the PC environment, including optimization, while Best Soundtrack honors a title that leaves a strong impression through highly immersive music.
User voting runs through October 23 on the official website. Winners in each category will be announced in London on November 11.
Crimson Desert Enhanced ranked second in cumulative U.S. video game sales this year, according to market research firm Circana. In a tally by global market analysis company Alinea Analytics, it ranked first in Steam revenue among games based on new intellectual property released in 2026.
In September, Pearl Abyss announced at Sony Interactive Entertainment's online showcase "State of Play" that the first downloadable content for Crimson Desert Enhanced will be released on October 16, and it opened global preorders.
