Comedians Kim Jun-ho, 50, and Kim Ji-min, 42, are expecting their first child.
Their agency, JDB Entertainment, officially confirmed on the 30th that "she is currently 12 weeks pregnant and due to give birth early next year."
Kim Ji-min announced the news herself that day on social media, posting wedding photos, a pregnancy test, and an ultrasound image. "This was our first attempt at in vitro fertilization, which I began by leaning on my husband, who comforted me by telling me not to overexert myself and not to rush," she wrote. "So gratefully, Duroop (the baby's nickname) came to us at once, as if waiting only for this day." She added, "Now that the stable period has passed and I can finally share it, today I'll be able to sleep with my legs stretched out."
Kim Jun-ho had earlier revealed on SBS's "My Little Old Boy" that he had tried for a natural pregnancy but, when it did not go as hoped, chose to undergo IVF treatment. "I thought it would definitely work, but when it didn't, I grew anxious," he confided. Both had invested effort into their plans for a child, going so far as to name "a baby" as their New Year's wish earlier this year.
The two began publicly dating in April 2022 and married in July 2025. The pregnancy comes one year after their wedding. Kim Jun-ho married a non-celebrity in 2006 and divorced in 2018, making this his second marriage, while it is Kim Ji-min's first.
Kim Jun-ho appears on "My Little Old Boy" and "Going to the End: Solo Tour," and will serve as executive chairman of the 14th Busan International Comedy Festival to be held next month. Kim Ji-min is active as an MC on Channel A's "Beauty Clinic Touch Me."
