Won Hyun-joon, an actor who appeared in the television drama "Mr. Kim," is marrying actress Lee Su-jin.
Won and Lee each announced on the 14th through their Instagram accounts that they will marry on Oct. 4.
"I have promised to spend my life with my most precious partner," Won said in announcing the news. "We will stay closest to each other, laughing together when we are happy and taking each other's side when times are hard."
He added, "I would be grateful if you would look warmly upon our new beginning, which has arrived like a new season, and offer your congratulations."
Lee said, "I have met the most precious person in my life, and now, becoming a wife, I am about to begin a new season together with him."
"I feel excited and a little nervous, but I am truly grateful and reassured to have someone to share every moment ahead with," she said.
She added, "I would be grateful if you would bless our new beginning with a warm heart," and, "I sincerely thank everyone who has always cared for me and cheered me on. I will live happily."
The couple also released wedding photos along with the announcement.
Won, born in 1980, made his debut in 2009 in the drama "Iris" and has appeared in works including "Itaewon Class" and "Pine: Country Bumpkins." He left a strong impression as Kang Kuk-chul in "Mr. Kim," which recently ended a popular run.
Lee, born in 1989, made her debut in 2019 in the drama "The Running Mates: Human Rights" and has appeared in "The Number You Have Dialed" and "Miss Monte-Cristo."
Won and Lee appeared together last year in the drama "Hyper Knife."
